Raksti par ekonomiku var saturēt bagātinātu un tajā pašā laikā, sarežģītu valodas lietojumu, turpretim, darbības vārdi ar postpozīcijām ir veidoti, lai valodu padarītu viegli lietojamu un saprotamu. Šī bakalaura darba tēma ir darbības vārdi ar postpozīcijām rakstos par ekonomiku. Šī darba galvenais mēķis ir noteikt kāda tipa un cik bieži darbības vārdi ar postpopzīcijām ir izmantoti rakstos par ekonomiku. Contact between Italian and dialect in Sicily: the case of phrasal verb constructions

The Phrasal Verb Constructions (PVCs) are an interesting example of the intertwining between Italian and dialects of Italy. These constructions are formed by a verbal base (especially of motion), and a locative or direction marking particle and exist in standard Italian as well as in regional varieties of Italian and dialects (i.e. Italian andare via 'go away', mettere giù 'put down'). Because of their progressive diffusion in different varieties of regional Italian, PVCs can be construed as an emerging feature increasingly accepted in regional standards. Digging up the frequency of phrasal verbs in English for the Police: the case of up

The present study focuses on the frequency of phrasal verbs with the particle up in the context of crime and police investigative work. This research emerges from the need to enlarge McCarthy and O’Dell’s (2004) scope from purely criminal behavior to police investigative actions. To do so, we relied on a corpus of 504,124 running words made up of spoken dialogues extracted from the script of the American TV series Castle shown on ABC since 2009. Based on Rudzka-Ostyn’s (2003) cognitive motivations for the particle up, we have identified five different meaning extensions for our phrasal verbs. Darbības vārdu savienojumi ar postpozīcijām veidi rakstos par jaunuzņēmumiem

Ziņu portāli ir vieni no izplatītākajiem informācijas avotiem, kuri informē par jaunākajām aktualitātēm pasaulē. Attiecīgi, ir ļoti svarīgi apzināt valodas lietojumu un tās atspoguļojumu ziņu rakstos. Tādēļ šī pētījuma mērķis ir pētīt valodas lietojumu rakstos par jaunuzņēmumiem, precīzāk, darbības vārdus ar postpozīcijām un to semantiskās un sintaktiskās īpašības. Lai sasniegtu mērķi, pētījums balstās uz 30 ziņu rakstiem par jaunuzņēmumiem, pēta 220 darbības vārdus ar pospozīcijām un to pielietojumu. Il ruolo del contatto tra varietà tedesche e romanze nella costruzione «verbo più locativo»

In this article we examine some effects of language contact in the multilingual province of Trento, where Romance and Germanic varieties have been in contact for centuries. We focus on the syntax of phrasal verbs (e. g. ‘go out’, ‘get away’) in Trentin, a Romance dialect group, in Fassan, a Rhaeto-romance variety, and in Cimbrian, a German(ic) minority language. In particular, we deal with two word order phenomena which might be attributed to contact with the more prestigious or widespread varieties spoken in the area: (i) in some Fassan phrasal verbs we find the order «Verb – XP – Locative element», which resembles the German order; (ii) in Cimbrian various syntactic positions are possible…
